What is the Collective Token?

The CryptoOracle Collective ($COC) token is the native asset of the CryptoOracle Collective and currently runs on the Base Mainnet.

The token is representative of the Collective’s unique commitment to forging long-lasting relationships with its clients and token holders. The token has a current total circulating supply of 2,200,000, with this volume projected to reach at least 8 million tokens by 2027.

The Collective limits token supply to maintain price stability, while also granting token holders special privileges, including the right to participate in governance (voting rights) and trading on decentralized exchanges.

HOW IT WORKS

Token Valuation Mechanism

The COC token is currently backed by 13 SAFEs, SAFTs, token swaps, and grants; with a NAV of $1.16 per token. Our valuations are favorable because we are uniquely positioned to partner with projects in earlier rounds of funding. This allows the CryptoOracle Collective to receive more favorable valuations than most VCs who invest after our acceleration/advisory of the partner company.

Our protocol only mints tokens when a new project enters into an agreement with us and a vote held by the token holders is passed. Then we mint tokens based on 80% of the SAFE/SAFT value. The remainder is accretive to all token holders. Our diversified treasury and accretive minting model allows us to accrete value to holders and grow our treasury.

For every $1.20 that enters the treasury, one COC token is produced, until the maximum supply is reached. This ratio may fluctuate (subject to decisions of the DAO) along with the token price. The COC coin is availalble on a DEX to facilitate trading. In order to join the DAO in good standing and enjoy all of its benefits, 100 tokens are required to be held by a member.
